Milk Transportation Manager

As Milk Transportation Manager, you will manage the operations of milk pick ups from all of the West Milk Region members with a Dedicated Fleet of 60+ drivers. Lead and provide directional support to milk sourcing and Membership on coordinating the distribution of milk supply between 4-6 manufacturing plants. This includes the management of 15 million lbs. of milk daily into the West Region.

You will be making strategic and daily decisions around transportation of milk from our farms to production facilities. You will also need to have an understanding of milk distribution within a cooperative model.

* Focus and Responsibilities
* Manage assets and equipment standardization for milk hauling across the United States
* Manage Dedicated strategy for Milk Hauling
* Manage Dedicated execution for West Region
* Provide supportive leadership on analytics, process and project management
* Manage Carrier Relationships West Region
* Business Liaison for Manufacturing , Membership, and Sourcing for West Region
* Leading SOP process around safety and quality in regards to milk hauling in Western Region

Experience :

Bachelors degree

5+ years experience in milk distribution for a cooperative.

Education Requirements

2+ years of management experience.
