Load Out Operator
LOAD OUT OPERATOR 1ST SHIFT
Wage: $18.50 $19.50 per hour depending on experience

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The primary responsibilities are to:
* Load Trucks
* Inspect Samples for quality and if they do not meet the standards stop loading, hold truck and notify supervisor
* Empty flush carts
* Housekeeping
* Beating on bins to free product to flow
* Bin inspections and verification of bin empty and documentation as required
* Verification of Truck Sequencing sheets must be filled out correctly and completely
* Must follow proper sequencing procedures using OptiSeq as your tool
* Finished feed sample submission and putting them away
* Must follow all Quality and Safety requirements as required and complete all quality associated training and quizzes as assigned
* Assist Control Room Operator where and when needed
* Assist in Feeder line Cleaning
When there is time in between trucks the expectations of keeping busy is expected Some duties that can be done during this time are as follows:
Be sure housekeeping duties (see below) are completed
* Help with Micros
* Fill Micro Hoppers
* Empty Flush carts
* Blow down load out
* Sweep load out
The Load Out Operator must know and understand each process area in order to operate it safely and efficiently. The Load Out Operator must comply with Purinas Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and abide by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations for drug handling.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
* Person must be able to perform required duties safely, sufficiently with minimal supervision, assist in troubleshooting, and work overtime when required; including holidays and weekends if needed
* Person must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 50 inches, 8+ HRS PER DAY.
* Mechanically inclined individual
* Basic knowledge of the operation of a computer
* Minimum of High School Diploma
* Individual must understand and abide by all Land O Lakes Code of Conduct, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs.
* Purina requires all employees to work together to produce a quality product in a prompt and courteous manner.
* Individual must accurately complete all documents for in-house use and federal regulations
* Person must be able to perform the following duties sufficiently with minimal supervision, assist in troubleshooting, and work overtime when required

PROCEDURES
Safely work in whichever job assigned area and perform job as efficiently as possible. Complete all required paperwork and follow all quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines associated with the job.
This includes:
* Sweep Load out multiple times per day and a final time at the end of the shift
* Wash down load out as needed or requested
* Sweep hammermill room when possible
* Special Assignments
* Blow Down as needed per housekeeping schedule
* All other duties according to Land O Lakes GMPs and quality guidelines
* as requested by your supervisor or lead person
