Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Project Engineer to work in the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) program area in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position manages proposal efforts for PAC-3 Production programs and is responsible for ensuring proposal requirement sufficiency by facilitating the functional personnel in support of proposal efforts and the appropriate inputs for management reporting. Proposal efforts include but are not limited to; ROMs, P&As, NTEs, firm estimates and may include domestic, FMS and DCS efforts. Develops, plans and schedules proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in some fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates sometimes as a member of the contract negotiating team. Candidate will be required to develop and present proposal status to program management.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Proposal, contract and/or financial experience.
- Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion.
- Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. finance & business operations, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)
- Excellent organizational, presentation, research and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience reading SOWs and determining program requirements across all functions.
- Experience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with missile systems
- Experience developing and conducting presentations.
- Lean-Six Sigma Facilitation Experience
- Sales, Order, EBIT and Cash determination.
- Bottom-line analyses experience.
