Join us at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Electronics Engineer working on the Orion program (NASA Human Space Flight) where you will:
Perform & support design, development, incremental system test, and customer acceptance test for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used for Lockheed Martin Space missions.
Support unique/custom designed circuitry, subassemblies & assemblies, as well as engineering design disclosure documentation required to produce them.
Programmatic field-of-vision includes assisting in:
Requirements generation
Production support
Test readiness
Design qualification
Requirements verification
Test results analysis
Formal acceptance
Delivery
Installation
Product support
Technical field-of-vision includes research and evaluation of:
Commercial off-the-shelf telemetry encoders
Radio Frequency subsystem
Analog & digital electrical circuits
Mixed-signal processing
Power supplies, packaging, containers, and interconnect equipment and components for use in automated test equipment.
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.
Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Demonstrated experience with design, analysis, testing and/or troubleshooting of high-reliability electronics throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
Experience delivering flight hardware as Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or delegate CPE or Responsible Product Engineer.
Full understanding of classic system engineering development cycle from initial system requirement development through trade analysis & design synthesis, product design validation & verification and final product sell-off.
Understand electrical system design principle and product configuration control.
Ability to interpret and implement specific requirements and coordinate design evolutionary processes.
Ability to develop technical drawings depicting detail design of electrical / electronic circuits.
Attention to detail, conversant with MS office tools.
