Manager, Software Development Engineering
Overview:
Manage a group of developers, testers, and implementation specialists for a high-profile application connecting financial institutions with a wide range of domestic and global networks for transactions processing, disputes, clearing, and settlement.
You must have a drive to learn about new processing flows and have some experience in analyzing, researching, troubleshooting issues, and customers onboarding best practices. You will work in a high pace environment collaborating with senior engineers and Partner with business owners, development team, quality engineering resources, product owners, and project managers
Major Accountabilities:
Mange staff in the Switching Gateway program responsible for development, onboarding, setup, and configuration tasks.
Work in a group setting to setup new processes and tracking deliverables and timelines.
Engage and coordinate with multiple software vendors and ensure the quality of code being developed and delivered to Mastercard meets the agreed upon requirements.
Coordinate and oversee customers configuration and onboarding tasks across a wide range of groups and organizations
Responsible for gathering requirements, working with the team to define complexity levels, delivery timelines, and oversee implementation tasks.
Participate in defining automation needs. Work with a specialized team to develop solutions to improve on delivery time.
Ensure knowledge transfer of vendor technology to Mastercard staff.
Act as a liaison between US and global product staff and development team.
Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
Participate in strategy setting sessions and assist with roadmap planning.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of customers implementation and testing needs along with procedures and processed for collecting information needed for setup and configuration.
Demonstrate MC Core Competencies
Comprehensive experience with payment flows, customers implementations, and a good understanding to payment gateway services.
