As a Senior Scientist in Analytical Enabling Technologies, you will work with a highly collaborative team to advance the discovery and development pipeline. You will be primarily responsible for developing analytical and preparative methods for small molecule pharmaceuticals but also peptides, protein-based therapeutics and emerging modalities. You will work side by side with process chemists to deploy innovative separation, analysis and characterization strategies to accelerate the development of new medicines. As a member of our team, you will be joining a diverse group of scientific problem solvers, who are dedicated to creating the life-changing medicines of tomorrow.

Education Minimum Requirement:

PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field with 0 or more years of industrial experience OR a chemistry degree with 5+ years of industrial experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

* Creative problem solving in scientific research
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC of small molecule pharmaceuticals, peptides and proteins
* Expertise with Multidetector hyphenation (LC or SFC coupled to UV/CAD/MS)
* Expertise with analytical and preparative purification techniques

Preferred Experience and Skills:

* Thorough understanding of chromatographic and mass spectrometry
* Reversed phase, ion exchange, size exclusion chromatography, etc.
* Background on isolation and characterization techniques (prep. chromatography, MS)
* Multi-angle light scattering
* Charged aerosol detection
* Fluorescence/UV spectroscopy
* Deep appreciation of interplay between chemical structure and physical properties
* Will to learning new technologies and automation
* Offline and online 2D-LC is a plus
