We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Design Lead to join Microns Global Digital Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Global Digital Marketing, you will guide the development of our global UX strategy, user research and testing, prototype development, and interaction design for all global digital channels. The successful candidate must be proficient in UX research, workshop facilitation, usability testing, lean UX, principles of design and UX standard methodologies with superb hands-on skills.

This role sits within the Corporate Digital Marketing team, part of Microns Corporate Marketing and Communications organization.

Core Responsibilities:

* You will develop Microns UX strategy and operating model, part of the broader Global Digital Marketing Strategy
* Align team objectives and research priorities with company achievements in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
* Partner closely with the end user, cross-functional partners, brand, studio, and content teams to understand and advocate the needs of our end users you are the voice of the customer
* Lead design sessions with teams and partners, offering and providing feedback on concepts and ideas to advise or evolve the customer experience
* Build targeted, innovative, interactive concepts that map to the end-to-end audience journey and the broader omnichannel experience
* Build out a scalable and measurable next generation UX design system for Micron.com (pre- and post-login)
* Selectively present designs and work to teams and partners, working with UX leaders to articulate and rationalize decisions
* Drive major UX projects from conception to implementation with both internal and external resources
* Conduct independent research using a wide range of data collection and analysis methods
* Lead user research and usability testing to advise product requirements
* Present a strong rationale for design decisions and champion other designers
* Estimate and plan tasks and projects and assist with management of the backlog and roadmap for assigned projects
* Evangelize design thinking and UX principles to generate awareness of the value, processes, and principles of UX research

Basic Qualifications:

* 7+ years of proven ability as an interaction, user experience, or product designer
* Bachelors degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience
* Phenomenal communicator and visual storyteller who can encourage and influence
* Proficiency in user research, user needs evaluation, metrics and measurements, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and/or visual design
* Ability to lead lean UX practice (user research/ethnography, UX workshops, rapid prototyping)
* Deep knowledge of responsive design, native iOS and Android design, as well as ADA regulatory principles
* Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills to articulate concepts, feedback and rationale and promote UX led initiatives
* Skilled with industry design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, Sketch
* Fast learner of new businesses and emerging technologies
* Online portfolio demonstrating work is required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Masters degree in a relevant field
* Understanding of the Enterprise B2B Tech space and/or semiconductor industry
