As a Central Engineering (CE) Stats Engineer for Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with the team responsible for taking the next generation devices from design to mass production. You will focus on failure analysis of component reliability test, quality, and RMA failures, lead change for enhanced product reliability, rapid production ramp and early time to market. Your primary responsibility will utilize component reliability test combine with statistical reliability analysis techniques to ensure product reliability and enhance test efficiency. You will responsible for communicating and coordinating with Management, Product, Process, Assembly Test, and Quality Assurance groups for product reliability test related issues. In addition, you will work with the CE Stats team to provide stats and data science consulting, project support, training, and mentoring.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

* Complete routine (typically weekly) component reliability test data analysis/evaluation, generate the reports, and communicate with relevant teams for any issues identified.
* Work with PE, Fab, Test, and GQ to address issues related to component reliability test, including reliability test experiment consulting and experiment results analysis, reliability evaluation for production conversion/excursion, timely evaluation of product reliability performance and decision on reliability test time adjustment, etc.
* Server as the contact person for component reliability communication within the company.
* Develop and continue to improve component reliability test data extracting and analysis scripts and provide support for teams using these scripts.
* Work with CE Stats team to provide stats/data science related consulting and project supporting within the company
* Work with CE Stats team to provide stats/data science training and mentoring

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelors or higher Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with background or working experience in STATS, math, or data science. Or Masters degree in Math, STATs or DS plus industry experience in applied stats / reliability.
* Strong communication skills
* Highly motivated and resilient
* Ability to build positive relationships
* Experience working in teams and ability to work well with others
* Software / Scripting Language skills

Preferred Skills:

* Good knowledge of DRAM and NAND fab, probe, or test process
* Semiconductor process coursework and/or experience
* Scripting skills in Perl, Python, JMP, or other scripting languages.
* Experience using applied analytical skills to solve complex problems
* Teaching experience or good presentation skills.
