Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

* Under the direction and leadership of the Program Manager will lead work in the fast-paced Program to synthesize, shape, collaborate, develop, and successfully deliver program deliverables.
* This leader will ensure technical coordination between IPTs and the Program Enterprise. The Program Manager will also interface, as necessary, with the Customer Program Offices, Program Leaders, System Integration, and Functional leaders to ensure strategic alignment of our efforts with the strategies of the Corporate, Sector, Division and Program.
* This individual may lead internal and external teams and suppliers to ensure program objectives are achieved (on schedule, within budget, at high quality) by tightly managing risks and opportunities, having a proactive communication style, and working independently within the team using existing contacts and the functions to solve hard problems with a systematic approach that demonstrates thought and project leadership. This individual will be required to manage the financials as part of his or her scope.
* This position will lead delivery from customer requirements and prepare and present deliverables for Program, Division, and Leadership milestones.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have a Bachelor 39;s degree AND 10 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Program Management and/or Engineering, OR a Master 39;s degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Program Management and/or Engineering.
* Must have 4+ years of experience with Earned Value Management and Risk Management
* Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed in the last 6 years)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s degree or Master 39;s Degree in STEM, Management or Business
* Active/Current Special Program Access (PAR)
* Previous experience working with NAVAIR customer
* Demonstrable experience in working large production efforts
