Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support one of our exciting Programs in Sykesville, Maryland. The main duties of this position include:

* The Program Quality Engineer with a thorough and complete understanding of Quality Assurance regulations and standards. This includes the ability to develop a Quality Assurance Plan that either identifies the gaps to, or meets the applicable requirements of the following:
* ISO 9001:2015 International Standards Organization Quality Management Systems Standard
* 10 CFR 830 Subpart A Nuclear Safety Management
* DOE Order 414.1D Department of Energy Order, Quality Assurance
* ASME NQA-1a-2008 with NQA-1a-2009 addenda.
* Serve as the primary customer liaison between MA and the customer, to include supplier evaluations, customer inquiries and visits, and audit support.
* Perform quality amp; administrative procedure development - revision for the control of design, procurement, manufacturing as well as sub-contract activities.
* Overall program life-cycle support, including contract requirements flowdown. Planning efforts, to include providing support to the overall effort of generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Cost Account Manager (CAM)/ Operations Engineering Manager (OEM) role. Provide representation at program meetings, design reviews, CCBs, and metrics meetings.
* Provide manufacturing cell support, including researching requirements, such as workmanship and design, and reviewing test data. Understanding and interpreting specifications and manufacturing aids. Creation and dispositioning of quality notifications and MRBs.
* Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers (internal and external) as well as across functional organizations, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are in place.
* Understand our Quality Management System (QMS) and conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for identified non-conformances. Conduct internal audits for non-conformance identification and correction. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable standards, collect Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and ensure overall compliance with requirements. Facilitate quot;zero defect quot; continual improvement efforts.
* Possess organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple shifting priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

* 13+ years of relevant experience (or 9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor rsquo;s degree)
* Demonstrated experience with NQA-1
* Demonstrated experience with Department of Energy 10 CFR 830
* Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
* Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action
* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Interim or Active DoD Secret clearance
