Come join our digital product management team - part of the Customer Experience division! We are responsible for the vision and development of a suite of digital products (front and back-end) that help our financial advisors grow and manage their business from strategy, sales, operations, financials, marketing to learning and development. Were seeking a hardworking and experienced Digital Product Manager to focus on field compensation digital tools.
While leading agile software product development, you will build, launch, grow and manage products across lifecycle for complex business rules algorithms, conduct market and user research, and prepare and execute go-to-market plans.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Set Product Vision: Ability to independently, and in some cases, co-create with other PMs and through collaboration with the domain product and engineering leaders, the foundational vision of the product and what it is trying to solve for. Define and track KPIs for measure of success.
* Develop Roadmap: Responsible for ingesting new items on the roadmap per documented prioritization framework(s).
* Gather Requirements: Focused on understanding the problem state and unmet needs of the client for the objective of defining the product.
* Define the product & Stakeholdering: Work with technology, design, customers/users, to shape and test the product and communicate why this is the right product, how it will work, and what defines metrics for success.
* Author User Stories: Translate requirements to technical details to build and validate use cases and user stories around a product and communicate them effectively
* Feature Prioritization: Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation according to business value or return on investment
* Facilitate Ceremonies: Participate in the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
* 4-5 Years of prior experience with at least 4 working in a Product Management Role, with agile team experience
* Knowledge Preferred: formal business analyst, engineering or testing experience. Knowledge of the financial services industry, familiar with BI tools. Certification or experience with Product Owner or Scrum Master role.
* Demonstrated cross-functional work in previous experience, strong communication skills, time management, project management skills, business acumen and high self-awareness and EQ. Ability to translate product requirements into technical requirements, work in ambiguity and solution.
* Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
