Job Description

A member of the Scientific and Operational Effectiveness group dedicated to implementing business and change management strategies to achieve performance excellence across DSRD. As an SOE team member delivers initiatives that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions.

This role will require the execution of project management strategies to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills; and the ability to work successfully in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary environment. Project management, change management and communication skills are a must.

This role will also collaborate with customers to develop and implement training, educational, and professional development programs for the DSRD business including the application of new training and learning technologies to improve the learner experience. In addition, this team member will use project management and critical thinking skills to successfully lead various training-related initiatives and projects across DSRD.

Through strong project management skills, drives the global implementation and continued maintenance of strategic initiatives and business process improvements that support the execution of the DSRD Strategy. This position uses project management oversight and expertise to ensure successful global implementation of these projects by employing various consultancy, change management, continuous improvement, influencing, education, and communication methodologies as required. Acts as a continuous improvement agent to improve existing processes and capabilities. Models DSRD leadership behaviors and values.

Responsible for organizing the effective delivery on key DSRD initiatives:

* Support development, communication and implementation of DSRD projects to advance the DSRD strategy.
* Works with Team Leads to develop communications, agendas, and SharePoint site(s) for content management.
* Facilitates meetings; manages action items & project management plans; documents and communicates decisions; and identifies and mitigates risk, designs communications.
* Helps team meet timelines and identifies interdependencies.

This role will also focus on DSRD training operations:

* Identify, develop, and manage learning technology pilots and projects for DSRD (e.g. virtual reality / augmented reality) using appropriate tools.
* Responsibilities will include identifying new technology opportunities, securing leadership support, vendor management, budget management and scaling-up the initiative, when/if necessary.
* Manage VR calendar and registration.
* Administer the learning management system to support training and training documentation practices, metrics, and training compliance reporting.
* Support the training and learning needs of DSRD lines/projects. Gain technical and scientific expertise necessary to effectively support and develop training and educational materials and proactively solve business challenges.
* Assist with curriculum maintenance and assignment/retirement, completion records and metrics reporting for business lines and training projects.
* Manage all instructor led training programs (includes all logistics, i.e. room set up, evaluations, visitor registration).

Qualifications

* BS/BA with 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical field.
* Experience working in a regulated environment and with regulated systems
* DSRD knowledge preferred.
* Communication, change and project management skills required, certifications a plus.
