ROLE SUMMARY
This role is responsible for managing key Supply Chain Initiatives, including demand forecasting, plant scheduling, material requirements planning, raw/work-in-process/channel inventory and logistics management all to meet customer delivery expectations. The role will also be expected to provide recommendations and solutions to the business team including Executives. The Senior Manager, SCP is responsible for managing a range of products and will closely work with other leaders within Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering as well as Finance, Sales and Marketing. The Senior Manager will also manage strategic projects, generate reports for Executive Management, and provide insights and direction to cross functional team members. This role is a key leadership position working within the Logistics Organization, but also interfacing with other site leaders, finance, sales and account management teams
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive supply chain initiatives focused on enhanced visibility of sell through and channel inventory to provide insights, recommendations and solutions to the grow the business and manage risk.
* Propose and initiate new strategic planning tools to enhance/improve current Supply Chain Planning and Management.
* Responsible for managing forecasting analytics leveraging new processes and tools.
* Lead a balanced, collaborative relationship within the Site Management Team and externally with Finance, Sales/Marketing and Customers to consistently drive continued process improvement and meet objectives.
* Manage and guide the team on day to day operations, streamline and document processes, implement guidelines and elevate the teams productivity to align with company strategy
* Drive actions to achieve company objectives for improved customer service levels and inventory planning leveraging key customer channel data.
* Has a strong sense of urgency and passion to meet customer expectations for delivery
* Strong knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to Supply Chain
* Process oriented with ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
* Strong project management skills; ability to see the big picture and connect requirements from various departments
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to analyze large sets of data; Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
* Proficient in multi-tasking, prioritizing, communicating and adapting to change

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree required in Business or Supply Chain related discipline.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or Logistics related operational field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Pharmaceutical experience highly desired
* Experienced in creating and managing diverse process centric teams across multiple disciplines
* Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include ability to adjust focus.

* Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple competing priorities and requirements. Note that these activities may not be time bound to core hours at the site.

* Must be able to work beyond the hours typically defined as a regular workday, which may or may not include weekends and holidays.
