Principal Global Investors (PGI) investment accounting is looking for Senior Associate Accountant to join our team! This is an exciting new position related to the launch of Principal Global Investor's new investment strategy in Alternative Credit.

Some of your responsibilities could include:

n

- Assist in implementation of new investment systems Develop new control environment

n

- Maintain security level data

n

- Recording investment activity

n

- Assist in the monthly valuation process

n

- Portfolio level analysis - income, holdings, realized gains & losses, valuation

n

- Assist with internal and external audits

n

- Perform other duties or essential functions as needed.

n

n

This position will require successful completion of a criminal background check.

n

n

Qualificationsn

n
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience plus 2-4 years of relevant experience requiredn
* Investment expereince preferredn
* CPA or other applicable certifications preferredn
* You may be required to become an associated person of Principal Securities Inc. which requires fingerprintingnn
