The Finance team for PGIM is seeking an action-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong decision-making abilities to fill the Finance Digital Transformation Director, Product Owner opening. Your role on this team will be to lead the development & implementation of new, integrated financial tools and technology solutions for PGIM, which will be utilized to meet business intelligence, data analytics, planning and analysis, and financial & management reporting needs. The candidate will partner with internal, and at times external technology solution providers, as well as PGIM finance teams and business leaders, to deliver best in class business analytics solutions for PGIM and Prudential and transform the way data is utilized. This role will encompass managing aspects of finance, technology, project management, and people management.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and versatile individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable being in a role with high visibility and relishes the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in an innovative financial technology transformation role in the enterprise. The individual will need to leverage knowledge of financial concepts (e.g.: P&L, BS, Capital/Debt) and technology (e.g. Oracle E-Business suite; SQL server; Anaplan; Power Platform; Data Management tools, i.e. Denodo; Data Visualization tools, i.e. Tableau) to partner and collaborate with finance, business and technology colleagues at all levels. This person is committed to personal growth, eager to learn, and embraces complex challenges to ideate, design, develop, and implement redefined and transformed processes.

Busy periods in this job will not be cyclical, but will be based on the peaks of deliverables, milestones, and hurdles that are needed to push projects over the finish line. Some of the busy times may be predictable, while others may not.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and implementation of new PGIM Finance tools, process improvements through technology solutions and business intelligence solutions, utilizing an Agile approach, which includes but is not limited to:
* Ownership of the Product Lifecycle
* Status Updates to key stakeholders and Finance Leadership
* Overseeing/tracking/managing implementation
* Reporting to management/stakeholders
* Create prioritization of projects
* Finding efficiencies through technology
* Expected to report out on cost efficiencies and man hours saved as a result of projects/solutions
* Interface with Leaders around the company (CFOs)
* Partner closely with business finance teams to define business requirements through user stories and recommend process changes to support new capabilities as needed
* Track and communicate deliverables and the associated timelines as well as project risks and dependencies

The successful candidate will report to the VP, Planning and Analysis, will have broad authority and ownership over the product roadmap and prioritization of projects.

Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.

Preferred Experience

7 - 10 years of well diversified and dynamic experience in a corporate environment

MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus

Experience with data architecture

Experience in building out BI solutions, i.e. Power BI or other data visualization tools

Data science and/or analytic experience

Demonstrated Agile Project Management experience (PM certification a plus)

Experience with GAAP accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Modeling, and Executive Presentations

Excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Anaplan Experience is a plus
