Position Responsibilities
**This is a part-time summer internship. Looking for candidates who can work 20-28 hours per week**
This position is accountable for data entry and management of all color and store related data, information and content required within digital customer experiences and core functionalities in support of The Americas Group omni-channel goals. It is expected that they will collaborate across cross functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across all shopping channels including S-W.com sites, SW Stores, mobile apps and platforms, catalogs, Acquired Brand experiences and Partner microsites.
Core functionalities may include but are not limited to: color information and detail pages, desktop and mobile color visualization data, color data syndication for partner relationships (Wayfair, Pottery Barn), regulatory information, product and color relationships, purchase history, guided navigation filters/categories/attributes, store locations details including Store Locator and syndication to search engines like Google or Yelp, and third party search syndication platforms like Placeable.
Supports E-business master data management team integrations, optimizations and technology updates needed to support marketing plans and drive operational efficiencies. Understands the business issues, data challenges, and identifies business data management strengths and weaknesses while reviewing and improving business processes and seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen business relationships.
DIMENSIONS
* Coordinates color and location related information planning, development/writing, compilation, verification and ongoing maintenance across digital experiences and applications including promotional activities related to color and/or location information and optimizes delivery and capabilities across key platforms and market segments as directed by the Color & Location Specialist.
* Assist with data design sessions to solve data challenges and develop specifications for business initiatives specific to the management, enhancement and syndication of Color (Paint and Stains) and Location (stores) data.
* Participate in analysis of business processes, data needs and proposed solutions to create detailed requirements and support the development of solutions aligned to core capabilities.
* Utilize master data management platform based on specifications, requirements and best practices to support business objectives. Includes management of core data and enhancements required to support internal and external customers.
* Understanding business and marketing objectives across market segments in order to identify opportunities of improvement.
* Leverage specific data elements including color facts, relationships, merchandising attributes, store location detail, geo-location specifics, marketing attributes and relationships to Sales Representatives, Territories and Districts.
* Identifies needed enhancements within databases to increase productivity and efficiencies and presents findings to Color & Location Specialist.
* Support integration of Color and Location data with other internal and external systems including websites, color to product database, external search engines like Googl, Apple, Bing, Facebook, and location syndication networks such as Chatmeter, and systems supporting color marketing including color collateral, and custom color palette creation supporting Sherwin-Williams customers (HOAs), and partners such as Wayfair and Pottery Barn
* Works with MDM team in the development, testing, delivery and support of core capabilities and functions that enable or support research and shopping functions across all platforms, devices and shopping channels.
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams comprised of business, internal IT/Operations and external agencies/vendors based on business needs that require system or technology enablement.
* Works on assigned projects and supports the Color & Location Specialist and Sr. Manager of Product Data Management.
Position Requirements
Formal Education:
* Current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, business, operations, technology, engineering or a related field
Knowledge & Experience:

2. Basic retail experience of locations and data associated with stores
