Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible to provide and maintain high standards of customer service in the department; may include leading and directing activities within the direction of the Department Manager and operations to ensure that the work shifts of the associates working contribute to the financial best interest of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

Relevant experience preferred, Proficiency developed through work experience and on the job training

Responsibilities:

Limited supervision
Works within a range of processes and procedures
Informal resources for less relevant experienced team members

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
