This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for any forklift start type opening for our three and a half day: Wednesday to Saturday 6pm to 6am schedule.

Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Shipping and Receiving. The candidate must be able to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. This job is a fast paced job and requires repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting up to seventy (70) pounds or more. This job also requires constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment, such as, but not limited to, forklifts, standup lifts, etc.. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicant must be able and willing to follow all operational procedures and safety rules.

Three Months experience operating a forklift and/or working in a warehouse is required. Applicants will be considered from the following counties in Tennessee: Davidson, Robertson, and Sumner. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of a post-offer heath assessment.
