The Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT) group is seeking a C .NET / Angular developer that will support the Wells Fargo Advisors account opening applications. The successful candidate will be aligned to the Advisory New Account Setup application and will have responsibilities to make business enhancements & provide technical vision/enhancements for the platform. These platforms are used to open advisory accounts & manage existing advisory products.

This Software Engineer will act as a tech lead, providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, coding, testing, debugging and document programs using Agile development practices. They will be providing the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments. Utilizing advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.

Responsibilities also include, developing new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain. Job Responsibilities:

* Web application development in C.NET within an agile environment
* Java development
* Writing automated test scripts

This position can be based at the Wells Fargo site location in St. Louis, MO or Minneapolis, MN.

This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target sites of St. Louis, MO or Minneapolis, MN or be able to commute to one of these sites for employment.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of C.NET experience

Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* 2+ years of Java experience
* 2+ years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
* Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
* Agile experience
* Experience with major database engines including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
* Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
* Brokerage industry experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* Ability to provide on call support & manage releases outside of normal business hours.
* Ability to execute while balancing multiple priorities.
