About the team

The Industry and Value Advisory (IVA) organization is part of SAP Customer Success Board Area and it is chartered with articulating the business value of adopting SAP Solutions.

As part of a small support team (the Value Factory) you will provide on-going, upon request assistance to SAPs Industry Value Advisors of the LAC North region in their responsibilities in customer engagements to assess strategic objectives of SAPs customers and prospects, innovation scenarios, key improvement opportunities and other sources of incremental economic value by using SAP technology.

Through training and self-learning you will develop a factory approach to deliver scalability on selected documents and deliverables to assist the on-time delivery of our value proposition and other requests.

What youll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Value Factory

Location: Bogota, Colombia - (Home office until the office is open again)

Duration: 6-12 months (12 months availability is preferred)

In this role, youll:

* Be capable of working under pressure, handling several requests simultaneously.
* Feel comfortable with numerical and complex mathematical models.
* Use internal SAP value management tools, repositories of previous experiences and latest business and technology research to produce agreed upon, on-time, quality deliverables to the team of Industry Value Advisors.
* Area 1: Business Value Use SAP value management tools and customer information to support in the production of business cases, TCO (total cost of ownership) analysis, benchmarking studies, quick value assessments and move the needle exercises.
* Area 2: Content Development Assist in the production of industry or line of business whitepapers, point of views, and other relevant documents.
* Area 3: Research Customer, industry, SAP solution and market intelligence research.
* Area 4: Workshops Participate in SAP internal and customer facing workshops involving design thinking techniques. Support on preparation and conclusions of workshops.

Who you are:

Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

* Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university
* Preferred: Business / Economics / Technology / Engineering / Strategy background
* Open to other academic backgrounds as well
* Proficiency in English.
* Excellent writing skills.
* Other Competencies:
* Proactivity and great communication skills (oral and written)
* Ability to analyze data and research using various sources
* Analytics Capabilities applied to analysis of corporate reports (Strategy, balance sheet)
* A collaborator who can virtually work with a regional team
* A self-starter and independent thinker who can run with various simultaneous tasks
* Attention to details and accuracy
* Curiosity to learn and a desire to bring fresh thinking/innovation to the team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Knowledge of virtual communications & collaboration tools (Zoom, Mural, etc.)
* Previous work experience preferred
