PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The role of Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) within SAP is to advise our national and international customers in strategy definition, conceptual planning and the realization of their business and technological transformation requirements. The solution portfolio ranges from one-day expert engagement to long-term customer projects. The scope varies from complex restructurings, consolidations, migrations, to system decommissioning for both, SAP and non-SAP environments in combination with DMLT owned software. SAPs new flagship S/4HANA is increasing the demand to our solutions tremendously.

To facilitate this strategy, Solution Delivery Center is looking for experienced professionals in all areas of SAP systems with a strong functional & development background.

We are looking for a team member in our Technical Consolidation team. A major task will be to translate customers business requirement in DMLT delivery pieces.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As an DMLT consultant, your job will involve working in a global team focusing on international projects in all regions to realize planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes using DMLT conversion and migration tools.

Main tasks would be:

* Provide consulting services: demonstrate the ability to set up and deliver DMLT projects (collaborate with the planning, run and participate in the whole project, participate in workshops, meetings, etc.) in collaboration with other consulting and development colleagues;
* Configure the DMLT Tool for migrations or transformations in customer system;
* Conduct scoping analyses and support to plan the required solution approach for Customers;
* Maintain and contribute to service development (enhance SLO tools & services).

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

* Fundamental knowledge and implementation experience in ERP as ABAP Consultant.
* Knowledge and experience in ABAP Technologies: ABAP Workbench, ABAP Data Dictionary, Report Programming, OO ABAP, debugging, interfaces, IDOCs, Enhancements & Modifications, BADIs, BAPIs.
* Understanding of Performance Tuning and Database Updates.
* Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects to SAP S/4HANA, various data migration techniques and approaches, like Migration Cockpit is a plus.
* Required technical skills: ERP Database architecture and ABAP Programing:
* Organizational Structure;
* Master Data & Transactional Data.
* Functional understanding of one or more ERP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD). Main process, Master Data, Organizational Structure data structure (main tables and fields and their relationship).
* Knowledge in SAP solutions and respective industry business process understanding.
* Interpersonal skills and competencies:
* Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory;
* Good written and spoken Portuguese skills is a plus;
* University degree;
* Very good communications/ presentation skills;
* Availability to travel;
* Experience working in international customer projects is a plus;
* High customer focus;
* Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focus;
* High drive & self-starter/-motivated;
* Business acumen.

WORK EXPERIENCE

* 3-5 years experience in implementing SAP ERP or supporting running SAP ERP implementations at customer site, as a Technical Consultant.
* Interfaces, Data migration and conversion projects experience is a plus.
