YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As a (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) in the Application Services team in the ABAP Cloud Platform, you will work on cloud centric development projects that are used by the latest SAP products like S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment or SAP Analytics Cloud. You will work in an agile team alongside with experienced colleagues and early talents and you will be involved in the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our stakeholders, to design, architecture, implementation, customer support and bug fixing. You will mainly be programming in ABAP and JavaScript to build technology tools as well as Fiori apps for key users and S/4HANA Cloud.

Currently, we are working on:

* Our Fiori Key User App Custom CDS Views is used by almost every S/4HANA Cloud customer that uses in-app extensibility. The app plays a major role in extensibility and integration scenarios as well in a transactional but also in analytical contexts.
* The Core Schema Notation (CSN) tools and services are used whenever metadata on data sources is needed. Our team is developing tools around searching data sources and exporting their metadata in the CSN format.
* With analytics for SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment, we are working on the roadmap to bring embedded analytics capabilities into steampunk and into the RAP programming model.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a passionate (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) with solid knowledge and experiences in object oriented programming. If you meet the following requirements, we are looking forward for your application:

* Very good university bachelor or masters degree in computer science or related fields.
* Very good communication skills in German and English.
* Knowledge of developing in at least one Object Oriented language is a must, professional work experience in a development role is a strong plus, ABAP OO knowledge would be ideal.
* Good Knowledge in Web technologies (JavaScript and HTML5, Fiori, UI5) is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
* Willingness to work creatively and independently on challenging tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards.
* Very good team player.
* Coding is fun for you.
