This is an entry level position within the Finished Good Manufacturing department. Responsibilities include filling, labeling, and processing ThermoFisher Scientific life science products following the appropriate documentation. This job entails working in a laboratory setting while completing routine work, with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position.

Responsibilities:

* Works safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
* Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures
* Operates various packaging and filling equipment and machinery
* Complete production tasks of components and finished products in accordance with SOPs, Work Instructions, and the Production Schedule
* Effectively communicate and interface with peers to ensure the completion of tasks
* Works alone or with peers to perform filling, labeling and/or packaging of products and various departmental projects
* Comprehends and fills out production paperwork such as: Product Reconciliation, Label Reconciliation, Labor Sheets, Product Fill Checks, Torque Checks, Batch Records, etc.
* Comply with company quality standards and ISO 13485 guidelines
* Utilizes 5s methodology by keeping a clean and sanitary work area, cleans and sanitizes machinery, glassware or equipment as required
* Works in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* Ability to work overtime
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Requires a High School Diploma
* Requires 0- 2 Years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment
* Demonstrated Ability to Carry Out Written Basic Production Instructions Required
* Good Problem-Solving Skills Necessary
* Basic computer skills necessary; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; reach; stoop; kneel; crouch; and sit for extended periods of time
* Important to have finger and hand dexterity, and the ability to differentiate between colors
* Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
* Ability to work in an environment of moderate noise level

Preferred Qualifications:

* No previous experience is necessary, but production or laboratory exposure a plus
* Experience with filling, capping and labeling using precision liquid handling tools and processes
* Experience in completing documentation using GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
