Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs general fabrication processes to produce aircraft propeller parts and blades. Operates general equipment and hand tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Works from a variety of media and documentation.
2. Will improvise setups and exercise constant mental and visual attention to prevent errors.
3. Sets up and maintains precise tool configurations.
4. Use of pneumatic tools, mechanical hand tools, precision measuring instruments and gauges.
5. Able to complete general shop math and use a computer for data entry and retrieval.
6. Able to read and interpret blue prints and company and industry specifications.
7. Highly dedicated to meeting customer commitments and incrementally improving the process.
8. Encourages continuous improvement, recommends solutions, and assists with implementation.
9. Ability to inspect own work once job proficiency is reached.
10. Physically able to lift heavy items, push/pull heavy items,
11. General supervision needed in order the complete tasks plus additional on the job training required.
12. Needs assistance to find solutions in order to solve problems.
13. Listens to concerns and responds appropriately based on feedback given through the learning curve.
14. Will learn to identify the need for improvements and be open to new ideas.
