Job Description
Textron Systems-Electronic Systems is looking for an entry level electronics assembler for production of newly developed and legacy products. Responsibilities include electronic /electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes including precision electrical, mechanical, cable and harness assemblies. Will work under the guidance of and provide assistance to senior Technicians and other staff members. Perform tasks in preparation for assembly such as verify bill of material parts and inspection of pre-assembled parts. Maintain a safe labassembly environment by following applicable practices/processes. Develop skills by leaning component, sub-system and systems level testing, including performance of system calibrations. Work with engineers to assist in the development of new products or processes, as applicable.
Position Requirements:
Must be team oriented and able to communicate and interface with others to execute manufacturing schedules. Possess the ability to comprehend assembly instructions, procedures, basic engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with tools necessary to fabricate and test electronic circuitry. Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry. IPC certified or able to obtain certification in J-STD-001 (Requirements for Solder & Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point). Must be a US citizen able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Starting salary is $17 - $19 hourly
