Responsibilities:
Lubrication includes the application of lubricants, changing oil and filters for gearboxes, hydraulic systems, etc. and proper disposal of old lubricants and filters. This list in not all inclusive and other tasks will be assigned by maintenance management.
This position is required to perform lubrication on all equipment, maintain active log on lubrications, insure correct type lubricant is used in each application, maintain inventory of lubricants, and keep within schedules.
This individual may be required to perform minor repairs on equipment including changing bearings, belts, chains, sprockets and other work on equipment.
Candidate will be required to report any abnormalities, issues, defects, etc. that they may observe while completing the lubrication, and submit a work order in the CMMS.
Candidate will also aid maintenance personnel as necessary when required, and participate in department’s housekeeping.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Excellent safety, attendance and job performance history.
Ability to read shop manuals
Ability to function on the CMMS system.
Excellent manual dexterity and math skills
Demonstrated the ability to make independent decisions, take initiative, work as an individual and/or team.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
