RMS is directly responsible for developing some of the most ground breaking, state of the art systems in the entire world. Everything from ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Radar) systems, to missile and targeting systems such as JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) and TTWCS (Tomahawk Tactical Weapons Control System). We develop critical systems for aircraft including the F35 Lightning II, P8 Poseidon and P3 Maritime aircraft, as well as surveillance and anti-submarine warfare platforms coupled with RF Communications and GPS technology.

Currently, we are seeking a systems engineer to support the Advanced Programs and WPI portfolio of projects. The work will involve supporting the Global Positioning System in capabilities such as ground receivers, constellation simulation, and software based monitoring of the constellation health and that of Weapons Platform Integration systems.

The successful candidate will work in an agile scrum development environment to craft and develop technically sophisticated solutions. On a day to day basis you would be involved in performing technical planning, system integration, verification/validation, cost and risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness of the various systems.
You would be tasked with ensuring that the customer requirements are successfully converted to system solutions. Doing this will entail performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates MUST currently possess a Full DoD SECRET level clearance walking in and are the only ones we can consider at this point.

- BS from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Previous successful candidates in similar positions held degrees in systems engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or computer science.

- Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally in a rapid-paced, team friendly environment.
Desired Skills:
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience such as MagicDraw or Rhapsody.
- Linux operating system experience
