IBM Spectrum Scale is the Software-Defined Storage solution for the new era of High-Performance Hybrid Cloud to enable AI and Analytics. This is an opportunity for a talented System Administrator to join the Spectrum Scale Development team. The ideal candidate is a technophile is passionate about learning new tools and technologies, driving productivity and efficiency, and enabling dynamic teams.

Job Duties:
As a Spectrum Scale System Administrator you will manage and support an OpenStack cluster to empower productivity and efficiency of the Spectrum Scale software development team. Spectrum Scale is deployed in many of the world's largest commercial and research institutions.

About the Team
We are looking for candidates who want to turn ideas into reality. You will work alongside global and local multidisciplinary teams of Researchers, Architects, Developers, Testers, and Support professionals focused on building Software-Defined Storage solutions. You will be part of an Agile Squad that develops and delivers bleeding-edge solutions for customers around the world.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 1+ years OpenStack deployment/admin experience
* 2+ years experience with Linux scripting languages, python
* 2+ years Linux system admin skills
* Self-starter, with the ability to learn independently
* Flexibility to work on multiple technologies and projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a virtual collaboration environment with worldwide team members

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Some knowledge of networking, both Ethernet and IB
* Experience deploying OCP clusters on OpenStack
