Essential Job Duties:
* Provide project leadership
* Provide engineering support to external manufacturers
* Participate in a cross functional team
* Lead design projects requiring development of new features and/or product enhancements to meet specific needs
* Achieve successful completion of assigned work responsibilities on time, within budget, schedule requirements Provide engineering support to the technical / warranty department
* Position will require non-routine travel within the United States and overseas
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical design including modeling, parts and assembly design, and structured bills of material
* Proficiency with 3D solid modeling mechanical CAD software
* Strong technical leadership abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Outstanding problem-solving skills.
* Driver's License
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
* 5 years minimum experience in the RV, towing or automotive industry
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Read and make product drawings & BOM's
* Proficiency at GD&T
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred)
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
* Office & shop environment (fabrication equipment, indoors, heated, partial AC)
* Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs.)

• On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
