Overview
HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking an Assistant Manager, Sales to support the Premium team in the Special Markets Department. The Assistant Manager will report to the Director, Premium Sales and will help to develop revenue generating strategies based on the review of business analytics for the HarperCollins ecommerce site.
Responsibilities
* Generates coupon codes for qualifying customers when needed.
* Works with Ecommerce team to optimize website user experience and operations.
* Partners with Finance, Marketing, and Editorial to accelerate sales on HC.com.
* Manages the day-to-day analytics and customer/ trend analysis to uncover insights and business opportunities.
* Handles weekly oversight of sales reporting and analysis.
* Additional responsibilities include working with premium clients to fulfill digital offerings.
Qualifications
* College degree or equivalent work experience required
* 3+ years of sales or marketing experience
* Previous experience with e-commerce platforms
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
* Must be detail-oriented
* A positive, can-do attitude with determination to problem solve and continuously improve the customer experience
