Job Description:

Manage IT Shared Services Backup and Storage functions and equipment. Administrate multiple Backup technologies across the Enterprise in numerous locations. Setup and monitor backup jobs and ensure successful backups complete on a daily basis. Support multiple storage technologies in the Enterprise. Participate in implementation projects related to Storage and backup functions. Provide support using Enterprise Help Desk software. Document processes and procedures as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

* Monitor daily backups, resolve related issues to failed backups
* Manage equipment in numerous locations working with onsite personnel and external support technicians
* Participate in projects to implement new backup or storage technologies
* Implement new backups, delete old backups and follow documented process related to Storage/Backup functions
* Manage customer support tickets using Enterprise Help Desk software

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience
* 3 years experience with Backup technologies
* 1 year experience with Cohesity backup technology

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Storage technologies
* Software knowledge - NetBackup, Backup Exec and CommVault
* Familiar with Dell, Quantum tape libraries
* Experience with NetApp, Hitachi, Cohesity Storage devices
* Experience with ServiceNow Helpdesk software
* Support onsite functions at the Melbourne Data Center
