Facebook is seeking a Manager for Music Label Partnerships in the US who is passionate about the changing music ecosystem, technology and supporting our goal of connecting people through social media, the mobile eco-system and business strategy. This role will lead the management of several of Facebooks key relationships with music labels and distributors in the US, as well as collaborate with our product and media partnerships teams to ensure a coordinated and best-in-class label partner management structure. This is a full time position.
Music Label Partnerships Manager Responsibilities
* Lead optimization of the health of several Independent label and distributor partnerships in North America
* Work with Facebook product and partnerships teams and music partners to ensure a comprehensive music strategy that supports our efforts to make the world more connected on all Facebook products
* Maximize communication, education, data management, ingestion, reporting, payment and partnership growth with music labels in North America
* Be a source of deep insights about the music ecosystem and partners to our executives
* Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in music partner management
* BS or BA Degree
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven track record of excellence in music partnership and account management for global organizations
* Experience in business development and operational experience with technology companies
* Knowledge of digital business models and technology
* Proven track record with high standards of professionalism
* Experience developing strong working relationships inside and outside Facebook
* Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized
* Experience managing multiple projects in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
