Become a Principal Manager of Integrated Resource Planning at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll lead a team of professionals that advance our electric sector decarbonization goals cost-effectively and while maintaining system reliability. You will also direct SCEs economy-wide decarbonization analysis and strategy. You will be an internal and external thought leader and critical interface among our technical modeling teams, regulatory teams, and operational organizations. As a Principal Manager Integrated Resource Planning, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Direct development of SCEs integrated resource plan including the development of SCE IRP strategy, scenarios, to meet SCEs electric sector decarbonization and system reliability objectives, while maintain customer affordability.
* Develop SCEs economy-wide GHG modeling, research, strategy and policy support for meeting Californias ambitious 2045 decarbonization goals.
* Lead and develop team of resource planning that lead cross-functional teams of analysts, modelers, engineers, and policy development specialists to deliver high quality results.
* Organize, directs, and collaborates with adjacent SCE organizational units to align integrated planning scenarios, resource valuation and economic analyses, and grid planning to support reliability and resiliency in a decarbonized grid.
* Represent SCE at regulatory agency workshops/hearings, industry coalition meetings and conferences.
* Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications
The essentials

* Bachelors degree in Economics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or other Quantitative discipline.
* Eight or more years of experience in energy economic analysis and/or energy resource planning analysis.
* Seven or more years of experience managing, supervising, or leading teams or project management experience.

The preferred

* Graduate degree in economics, engineering, physical sciences, energy management, or public policy.
* Ten years of experience of energy planning and policy development.
* Five years in decarbonization analysis, planning, and policy development.
* Experience leading large scale, cross-functional projects with high impact to an organization.
* Strong interpersonal communications and technical writing skills.
