In this job, youll be actively involved in leading the development and implementation of risk-based quality programs for SCEs Transmission & Distribution Organizational Unit (T&D) to ensure that T&D maintains acceptable levels of quality and compliance, mitigates risk, and ensures appropriate and specific controls are in place for activities throughout the asset lifecycle. This role will interface with senior leaders in T&D (e.g. principal managers, directors, VPs, etc.) as it relates to relevant quality issues that need their input and attention; this position will also interact with colleagues and peers across T&D, and will be leading cross-functional teams in support of quality programs on a day-to-day basis.

* Lead development and implementation of select Quality Programs for large-scale, high-impact, long-term quality efforts that require coordination with other business lines within T&D.
* Provide oversight and coordination in support of ongoing quality programs for T&D Program Owners, as necessary.
* As needed, act as interface and intermediary among T&D BLs, Quality organization, and Senior Leadership
* Oversee/Coordinate/Facilitate support of various quality or compliance programs as requested by Quality or T&D Senior Leadership
* Lead cross-functional teams in the development of risk-based T&D quality programs and procedures across the asset lifecycle that impact multiple organizations.
* Lead development of select quality procedures across the asset lifecycle with responsibilities across T&D BLs, and coordinate with BLs on quality procedures, quality manual documents, quality dashboard reports, etc.
* Drive Quality program plans and schedules to ensure key goals are met

Qualifications
The essentials

* Ten years or more of experience working with quality programs, quality management systems, or developing quality policies or procedures

The preferred

* Bachelors degree in Engineering
* Experience as qualified electrical worker and Transmission and Distribution in maintenance and construction standards.
* Experience implementing quality management systems, or quality programs.
* Experience with quality standards, such as ISO-9001, ISO-55001, etc.
* Relevant Quality Certificates and/or Licenses. (ASQ Certification, NQ1 Certification, CPA etc.)
