The Sling TV Pricing and Promotion Strategist (PPS) will be the primary owner and point of contact for subscriber acquisition promotions across all domestic customer segments. The PPS works cross functionally with Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, and Management to conceptualize, evaluate, present, operationalize, and analyze new, existing, and former customer promotions. Additionally, the PPS is charged with maintaining the Sling Master Offer Calendar; as well as other various and sundry tasks as needed. A successful candidate is a self starter, both analytical and creative, able to synthesize large amounts of data into clear business insights, and work cross departmentally managing by influence.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualize new promotions for all stages of the customer lifecycle
* Use data-driven analysis to evaluate the potential profitability and risk of promotions under consideration
* Shepherd promotions through the approval process and towards execution
* Conduct ongoing analysis of promotion performance with a focus on incrementality
Education, Skills, & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in a relevant marketing, business intelligence, or analytics role
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, mathematics, or related field. MBA a plus.
* Sound understanding of statistics and testing methodologies
* Excellent organizational and planning skills
