The Human Resources Business Partner works with a team of collaborative HR professionals that consist of recruiting, benefits, leadership training, HRIS, compensation and coaches. We work with entry-level leaders up to executive level leaders in both corporate and field-based environments. The HR team is a diverse collection of HR leaders that exhibit Curiosity, Pride, Adventure, and Winning into everything we do.

In your role, you will be responsible for strategic planning with your business partners to help support DISH's growing IT department. You will be supporting the team's recruiting, development and organizational design as well as day-to-day HR functions. This position also acts as the HR point of contact for the DISH Grand Central office.

* Partners with leaders on employee related activities including leadership development, succession planning, talent planning, organizational design and employee engagement
* Serves as an ambassador for HR strategies, philosophies and initiatives within the organization by recommending employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
* Develop productive working partnerships with business partners, and advises management of risks associated with current business practices, recommends improvements by providing expertise to management in local, state and federal employment laws and proactively advises on recommendations and alternatives to human resources strategy to higher-level managers.
* Conduct employee investigations and promptly reports any compliance related concerns and works through appropriate resolution.
* Conduct employee exit interviews and round table sessions, facilitates protected leave requests, conducts regular benefits training, and assists in maintaining employee files.
* Understands and can articulate department and DISH corporate business goals, including financial impacts of HR actions.

A successful HR Business Partner will have the following:

* Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; and 3-5 years related experience coaching and collaborating with corporate employees preferred.
* Solid knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing recruiting and employment practices.
* Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives with competencies that include, but are not limited to: excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
* Flexible, innovative in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
* Up to 10% local travel may be required.

Compensation: $65,000.00/Yr. - $85,000.00/Yr.
