ABOUT THE POSITION:The Operations Manager is a key contributor to managing and overseeing the key functions that will enable the operations organization to be more effective and efficient: planning, enablement, execution, and performance. This includes ownership of the operations processes, rules of engagement, reporting, dashboards, tools and templates, scheduling, utilization management, and thought partner to create a more scalable, quality driven operations organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain documentation on operations processes, policies, tools and templates, and relevant operations training materials and assist with onboarding new operations talent
Grow & develop scheduling approach and process, manage the operations scheduling and utilization process
Coordinate scheduling with other operations leaders, staff forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the operations organization
Coordinate with operational leaders and other business partners to review schedule satisfaction and effectiveness
Define, collect, and track operational metrics to manage and improve planning performance
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis and communicate the results to leadership in a clear and comprehensive manner
Drive a variety of delivery operations projects and work with IT on the execution of projects
Develop dashboards and reports, through multiple data sources, that enable operations leadership to review and understand the performance of the operations function
Partner closely with Finance, Managing Directors of Accounts and Chief Sales Officer to support forecasting process
Develop and refine internal reports to summarize schedule efficiency based on provided forecast
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunity areas for process improvement and help implement them throughout the operations organization
Create and update internal departmental policies
Liaise with the sales and operations teams to determine ways to continue to improve the customer experience
Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches
Perform other duties as required and assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor2019s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in an operations role responsible for scheduling of resources
Experience in a professional services organization with a large billable staff
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Strong, demonstrated attention to detail
Effective prioritization and time management skills
Ability to see the big picture
Sense of urgency to drive for scalable processes that provide high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
