Job Location: Remote, work from home United States (must be able to travel 50%)

Role Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Worksite Solutions, The RVP of Sales, Worksite Solutions will be responsible for the development and execution of Cignas Supplemental/Voluntary Benefits Worksite Strategy in employer markets under 250 lives. Working hand-to-hand with broker/agents and Cigna Healthcare sales teams, the individual in this role will be responsible for driving year-over-year growth of supplemental product sales within their region.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute CSBs Worksite distribution strategy within their assigned region, driving significant sales growth of supplemental products.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, competitive intelligence, core product strategies, and other indicators ensuring a competitive edge.

Maximize the local value proposition through partnership with key matrix organizations (underwriting, pricing, CHC sales teams, etc.). This partnership will help facilitate a best practices approach where sales and each matrix partner better understand each other and market conditions.

Develop and maintain strong external relationships with general agents, brokers and other key producers including national and regional broker alliances Day-to-day activities might include presenting Cignas products/capabilities at finalist meetings, conducting seminars, attending regional worksite shows, etc.

Prepare an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

Achieve agreed upon sales targets.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of voluntary product sales experience with hospital indemnity, critical illness, and/or accident products required
Sales will be made through independent brokers/consultants, therefore having established broker relationships is important for this role
History of consistently delivering sales results
Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals
Excellent oral and written communication skills, executive presence
Up to 50% Travel Required

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
