Summary

The role of Product Designer is a key strategy position responsible for designing rapid A-B testing with cross-disciplinary Engineering, Product, Research and UX teams.

The position sits within the Evernorth Enterprise Innovation team which operates in state-of-the-art labs across the country, is responsible for developing and managing programs and services that allow our 100 million members to make better drug, pharmacy and health choices. Rooted in health decision science, this department includes Data Solutions, Physician Solutions, Research and New Solutions.

Duties

* Apply experience and knowledge of design, social science and healthcare best practices to create testable hypotheses, based on user/member needs, which are relevant to addressing healthcares biggest challenges.
* Create detailed design documentation including diagrams, graphics, layouts, charts etc. to define interface/ system requirements and partner with cross functional Engineering, UX, and Product teams to design and build systems (websites, texting/ call platforms, marketing collateral etc.) required to test the hypotheses.
* Launch and monitor qualitative and quantitative tests.
* Analyze and synthesize findings and prepare reports and presentations.
* Present findings and implications to stakeholder audiences.
* Recommend design changes or solutions based on research evidence and design best practices.

Skills

* 10+ years design or research experience.
* Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with complex and conflicting requirements
* Ability to manage a project from end-to-end including eliciting stakeholder goals, study design, development, data analysis and reporting.
* Ability to support simultaneous projects and product teams. Managing roadmaps, communicating progress and setbacks to stakeholders, and aligning insights delivery to milestones.
* Ability to visualize quantitative and qualitative research results in compelling ways.
* Demonstrated leadership experience working in a matrix organization to drive business results where the organizations providing critical services do not report to the accountable leader such as project management, operations, IT, finance, legal, etc.
* Ability to work with integrity, align our efforts, collaborate to achieve results, work with passion, maintain mutual respect in light of adversity, and deliver high value services to our clients and beneficiaries.
* Self-starting individual that is capable of working very independently, producing significant results both individually and through leading and working with others.
* Exceptional ability to develop compelling presentations and reporting to align a broad and diverse audience behind an initiative to accomplish significant results and maintain focus through project completion.
* Ability to work under pressure with strict timelines.

Education

Formal education in a relevant field such as human-computer interaction, human factors engineering or psychology, human centered design, cognitive psychology, anthropology, market research, psychometrics, or information science preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience that demonstrates an understanding of quantitative research techniques as well as UX research theory, methods, and practices.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
