The Boeing Company is hiring for a Mid-level Test & Evaluation Engineer (Flight/Mission/System Test) role. The Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System Test & Evaluation (ST&E) Test Execution Team is seeking a Mid-level Test & Evaluation Engineer to serve as a Test Integration and support the planning, execution, reporting, and evaluation of System Level Cyber Testing. The Integrator will also support the coordination of tech services, NGC, Orbital, Raytheon, and Boeing test execution managers and engineers to successfully execute Cyber Tests. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Position Responsibilities:
* Supports the development and verification of test methods.
* Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
* Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact.
* Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements.
* Uses analytical tools to verify the design.
* Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements.
* Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
* Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements.
* Presents test results internally.
* Archives data and reports.
* Trains others.
* Works under general direction.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
* 3+ years of experience in systems engineering and test and evaluation engineering.
* Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* ABET accredited degree.
* Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports.
* Experience with Cybersecurity testing processes and procedures.
* Experience working with US military customs and procedures.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
