The Boeing Global Services Engineering, Logistics Sustainment Engineering organization is seeking a Support Planning & Management Engineer to lead the Operations & Sustainment (O&S) Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) Proposal Management project. This role will focus on provides logistic engineering proposal support to ensure supportability and maintainability of support products and services; assist in influencing product definition and design to enhance supportability. Acts as a support focal for support and maintenance equipment requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

* Support Operations and Sustainment (O&S) proposal management/development.

* Work directly with customer on proposal requirements, ensuring clear understanding across customer and O&S organizations.

* Assist in identifying, accessing and prioritizing O&S proposals to include requirements, technology, support, cost and schedule.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Do you have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship?

* Bachelors degree or higher
* 5+ years of experience in proposal management.
* 5+ years of experience working with Supply Chain Management
* 5+ years of experience Evaluating engineering changes based on customer requirements and proposes program changes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Experience coordinating and supporting proposal development
* Experience interacting between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
* Experience communicating with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
* Experience working on the Ground-Based Missile Defense Program
* Experience working with Integrated Logistics Support elements

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:
Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.
