As a SAP Variant Configurator System Administrator/Programmer Lead Engineer you will create and maintain configurable materials for Artificial Lift products in the SAP Variant Configurator. This includes creation and programming maintenance of configurable material masters, bills of material, and routings.

In this role you will be responsible for:

\u00B7Conferring with product line management, product development management, and sustaining engineering management to approve/disapprove proposed additions to the variant configurator.

\u00B7Working with product and development engineers to define the characteristics, selection conditions, bills of material, and routings of new configurable material.

\u00B7Developing and enter new configurable materials through SAP variant configurator programming the user interface, bill of material, and routing.

\u00B7Utilizing SAP Application Link Enabling to move variant configurator elements from the SAP development system to the test and production systems.

\u00B7Reviewing all engineering change notices for updates to configurable materials in the variant configurator.

\u00B7Supporting product engineering for variant configurator changes outside the engineering change notice system.

\u00B7Troubleshooting and supporting configuration mismatch errors on deliveries, sales orders, and production orders with material variants.

\u00B7Leading any improvements or new capabilities related to the SAP Configurator tool.

\u00B7Monthly and quarterly Variant Configurator activity and sales reporting.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

\u00B7Have an Engineering Degree required, BSME or BSIE preferred

\u00B7Working experience and knowledge of elements and inner workings of the SAP Variant Configurator, including SAP configurable material master, bills of material, routings, and work center maintenance.

\u00B7SAP and Microsoft Excel skills for pulling product information and completing reports.

\u00B7Strong communications skills \u2013 written, analytical, negotiating and interpersonal are essential.

\u00B71-3 years of experience in SAP Variant Configurator programming language is preferred.

\u00B7Knowledge of ESP downhole standard product offerings and constructions, Surface Pumping Systems and Drives standard product offerings and constructions are a plus.
