Job Description

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, a recognized industry leader in providing high quality flat-rolled steels to the automotive, appliance, manufacturing, and other markets is seeking Hourly Production Employees at our Zanesville Works, Ohio location. Cleveland-Cliffs is a leader in employee safety, quality, and productivity.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Operates equipment and performs tasks that support operation of the various producing units.
* Operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, radio control cranes, forklifts and other mobile equipment
* Directs the flow of material to and from producing units and inspects material.
* Inspects and performs basic maintenance on all associated equipment.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or (GED) equivalent.
* Be 18 years or older and have legal right to work in the U.S.
* Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, week-ends, holidays and overtime as required.
* Have a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality and the environment.
* Have the ability to read, understand, and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
* Prefer a minimum of one year manufacturing and/or distribution work experience.

* Total earnings opportunity is composed of an hourly base rate, a variable weekly unit incentive plan, and overtime along with other wage additions including :

* Quarterly plant-wide incentive plan based on plant quality, efficiency, and productivity
* Starting hourly base rate of over $20.00 per hour.
* Potential for earnings increase, as employees work higher rated positions.
