Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systemshas an opening for a Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team ofqualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida.

Essential Functions:

* Candidatesfor this position will lead/support proposal activities of diverse andinclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with otherteam members.

* Theywill demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal,business, and proposal based capabilities; a commitment to ethics andintegrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamicenvironment.

* Develops, plans and schedulesproposals.

* Compiles cost, schedule, andtechnical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with requestfor proposal (RFP) specifications.

* Coordinates the collection and accumulation ofcost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.

* Researches and analyzeshistorical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.

* Coordinates activities andparticipates in fact-finding meetings.

* Participates in should-cost andpricing reviews with management and customer representatives.

* Participates as a member of thecontract negotiating team.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree from an accredited university and 6+ years of combined experience in Pricing amp; Estimating, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Cost Management or Contract Management experience OR
* Masters Degree from an accredited university and 4+ year of combined experience in Pricing amp; Estimating, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Cost Management or Contract Management experience.
* Knowledge of the government regulations FAR and DFARS
* A current DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain program access prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working within Proposals
* Proficient in using ProPricer
* Experience conducting cost analysis and risk modeling
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
* Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
