Location: Florida - travel to facilities throughout the state; NC and KS as needed

Work Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Assists Center Managers, Assistant Managers and Centra Care Administration with assessing and planning center maintenance needs. Performs monthly inspection of facilities and implements any necessary repairs in order to maintain Centra Care facilities to appropriate standards.
* Assists with maintaining each Centra Care facility, interior/exterior and non-technical equipment. This may include projects in the building such as painting, minor remodeling and basic plumbing repairs.
* Completes Centra Care Maintenance Log which details daily jobs/projects performed during the week. Forwards information to Supervisor,
* Completes safe and effective use of equipment needed to perform daily maintenance, repair or remodeling needs such as saws, drills and other minor equipment. Performs routine maintenance on equipment to keep in good working order.
* Collects and analyzes pricing from various vendors. Obtains required approvals from Center Manager or Supervisor as needed for supplies and repairs from outside vendors.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

* One year of experience in repairing problems related to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and millwork.
* One year of experience in facilities maintenance
* Valid Florida Class E Drivers License

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician maintains all Centra Care physical plants and non-technical equipment. This includes, but is not limited, to painting (finish and general), plumbing, minor electrical, and millwork. Helps manage Centra Care warehouse, its inventory of equipment and furnishings. Adheres to the AHS Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Delivers various items for various departments of Centra Care. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
