Work Hours/Shifts:
FT Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Identifies and prepares patients usingb aseptic technique as dictated by procedure order
* Verifies orders and facilitates implementation, communicating with physicians as needed
* Performs treatments and administers medications according to policy and training
* Performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulating, monitor and scrub) required in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab team
* Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) within 30 minutes
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology Technology or Respiratory Therapy
* One year of cardiovascular lab, interventional radiology lab and peripheral lab experience preferred
* Current GA RN license or Radiologic Technologist (RTR) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) required
* Current BLS & ACLS
* Must have experience with PCI and STEMI call
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Lab Technologist performs a wide range of technical skills which are utilized during a variety of cardiovascular or interventional radiology procedures to provide efficient, comfortable and safe examinations of all patients.
