Job Description
The Sr. Business Analyst provides analysis, executes processes, and utilizes business tools and metrics to ensure that the correct product is carried in the Independent stores. The Analyst will work closely with the Independent field team to ensure connectivity between the Independent Store Owners and their inventory.
Requirements:
Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Mathematics
Previous experience 2+ years business experience (Inventory, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, or Retail experience preferred)
Other requirements PC and Microsoft Office
Analytical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a high level of energy and initiative
Inventory Planning & Analysis Performs Store/SKU level analysis and develops plans for ways to improve inventory assortment for the stores in collaboration with the field team and store owners. Utilizes tools and databases to identify areas for improvement, make recommendations and create orders for the stores.
Inventory Management Educate store owners and field team members on DAT, our inventory management system (Dynamic Assortment Tool) and the benefits it brings. Set up stores on the Dynamic Assortment Tool (DAT), maintain their DAT profile and provide reporting on DAT performance for stores. Collaborate with the Merchandise Analytics team to problem solve issues with DAT when needed.
Communication/Collaboration- Works cross functionally with merchandising, inventory planning, visual, supply chain, and field teams to find/create solutions for various requests. Communicates issues and recommends solutions. Develops and presents business updates that are tailored to the audience receiving them.
Cross Banner Replenishment Provides store/SKU level analysis to gauge the impact for stores that change their servicing DC as part of the cross banner replenishment initiative. Collaborates with store owners and field team to provide solutions for any issues that arise.
