Financial Analyst

We are seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Analyst position at our Manufacturing Operations in Fall River, MA.

Function Overview
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst is a key position that helps support a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) continuous improvement system throughout operations as well as leads key capital and financial processes. The person in this position must ensure that all daily activities within his/her scope are performed in a manner consistent with achievement of the plant vision and its goals and objectives. This position is a key cross-functional business partner and will collaborate with other support functions (Materials, Operations, Human Resources, etc).

Job Responsibilities

* Responsible and accountable for:
* Capital and Fixed Assets Management:
* Business Case Review
* Outlooks - Project spend & Depreciation
* Capitalization review
* System administration
* Financial Close
* Assisting with monthly financial close processes and entries
* Ownership of key balance sheet accruals and reconciliations
* Budget management
* Monthly financial outlook process, including understanding and documenting key variance drivers
* Track & report key Plant Financial Metrics to drive process improvements and business decisions based on metrics analysis
* World Class Manufacturing:
* Support comprehensive data collection and analytics for all plant losses (Cost Deployment)
* Ensure SOX compliance and strict adherence to all Whirlpool manufacturing standards and methods
* General Duties: Ad Hoc financial analysis and data analytics to support leadership

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree
* 1+ years finance experience

Preferred Requirements

* Degree in Finance or Accounting
* Ability to develop and connect data analytics to drive improved performance
* Ability to grow individual and organization competency through proactive coaching and mentoring
* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
* Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution and team building skills
* Strong computer skills including MS Excel skills, Google suite knowledge, and SAP experience
