The Wells Fargo Securities Program Associate 2 Industrials position is based in Charlotte, NC. The team is seeking a seasoned, experienced 2nd year Associate with prior M&A transaction experience. This Associate will be supporting Forest Products, Paper & Packaging companies.
These individuals continue to develop their knowledge of the business, marketplace and clients. They are responsible for similar assigned tasks as the 3rd year Associate although may need more assistance in handling complex transactions.
Associates are an integral part of the Investment Banking team. They are directly involved in the design, origination, structuring and execution of advisory and capital markets products and services for existing and prospective clients. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business units risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Required Qualifications
* 1+ year of capital markets industry experience
Desired Qualifications
* 3+ years of investment banking experience
* Mergers and acquisition experience
* Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Other Desired Qualifications
* Current and prior Mergers and Acquisition experience a plus
* 3+ years of investment banking, capital markets or corporate finance industry experience
Job Expectations
* Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
