What you'll do...
We are seeking a Front-End Engineer professional in our Hoboken, New Jersey office.
Duties: Create front-end software applications as a member of a crucial engineering team closing the gap on tooling for Digital Merchants. Design and develop software for a range of UI Projects with varying frameworks such as ReactJS and technologies like Webpack, Axios, Redux, HTML and CSS. Provide REST based web API and service connectivity for these user interfaces using Node.js and JavaScript. Drive both design and development of these new and existing software applications to satisfy key end users use cases. Gather business requirements to clarify these use cases wherever needed or unclear and translate it into software engineering specifications. Practice continuous software integration and deployment to guarantee rapid and reliable delivery. Apply best practices for cloud computing on Azure and GCP to deploy and execute the software. Research and learn new technologies as appropriate for upcoming projects and to provide better software engineering solutions. Repair software defects and manage risk related to the availability of the software applications in production. Provide software engineering support for the new software to help other teams with execution and delivery.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field plus 5 years of experience in front-end software applications development, or related field.
Skills required: Experience developing Web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ES6. Experience implementing UI Libraries including React, Redux, React Router, jQuery, and Angular Framework. Experience implementing Data Visualization through charting libraries, data Tables, and Grids. Experience with Server-side Rendering of ReactJS. Experience writing unit tests using jest and other testing libraries. Experience with CSS Frameworks, Static Type Checking for error free code and Eslint for static web analysis. Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, CI/CD using Jenkins, and log monitoring). Experience developing projects using Agile Framework (Scrum). Experience building Rest based Web API Services and service connectivity for UI. Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language. Experience implementing Authentication, Authorization and role based access to web applications. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
